Mehrangarh Fort is a tourist place located in the The Fort area of Jodhpur. It was established in 1943. It remains open for 8 hours a day. You can visit Mehrangarh Fort on weekends and weekdays.

I visited this place May this year. I was stunned by its beauty and design. The fort is clean. It has a museum, mini shops that sell rajasthani stuff, restaurant, old artifacts, etc. It has a few temples too. In case you want to know about the history of the fort or you don't understand the local language, you can hire a guide. You're allowed to enter the fort only if you have a ticket. Also, you'll be asked to keep some of your stuff outside before you get into the fort. Rickshaw is the cheapest and the best way to reach the Mehrangarh fort. They charge something around 80 Rs. If they're asking you for a higher amount, bargain with them.
